A Doppler- scrotum is done to know about the blood flow through the testicles. It is helpful in detecting presence of varicocele and other disorders in the blood vessels.


Why is DOPPLER - SCROTUM done ?

This test is done to:

  • Help determine why one or both testicles have become larger
  • Look at a mass or lump in one or both of the testicles
  • Find the reason for pain in the testicles
  • Show how blood flows through the testicles

SLAs:
For Doppler test scheduled before 2 PM eConsultation will be scheduled before 9 PM same day and the physical reports to be delivered by 10 PM same day
For Doppler test scheduled after 2 PM eConsultation to start from 8 AM next day and the physical reports to be delivered starting from 8 AM next day

Why is DOPPLER - SCROTUM ?

This can help to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions, including blood clots and poor circulation. A Doppler ultrasound can be used as part of a blood flow study. A Doppler ultrasound is a risk-free and pain-free procedure that requires little preparation. The test provides your doctor with important information about the flow of blood through your major arteries and veins. It can also reveal blocked or reduced blood flow through narrowed areas in the arteries, which could eventually lead to a stroke.
