Why is X-ray at home TMJ ?

An X-ray at home TMJ is an imaging test that uses small amounts of radiation to produce pictures of the organs, tissues, and Temporomandibular Joint. TMJ X-ray allows for visualization of the articular tubercle, mandibular condyle and fossa and is thus useful to identify structural changes and displaced fractures, as well as assess excursion and joint spaces.
